Project Sarthi - A Milestone in KareerTrek's Journey
Turning Experience into Impact
One of the significant milestones in the journey has been the successful conceptualization and implementation of Project Sarthi, an initiative launched within the IIT Delhi Alumni ecosystem with the vision of strengthening career opportunities, mentoring, industry engagement and employability for students.
The initiative was led by Mukesh Batra, IIT Delhi alumnus (B.Tech. Chemical Engineering, 1985), recruitment leader and Founder of KareerTrek, bringing together decades of experience in recruitment, talent development and mentoring.
Project Sarthi was built around a simple belief:
Students don't just need information about careers, they need the right guidance, meaningful exposure and trusted mentors to make confident decisions.
Working closely with students, alumni, recruiters and industry professionals further reinforced a reality that continues to shape KareerTrek today.
The biggest challenge for most students is not the lack of opportunities.
It is the stress, uncertainty and confusion surrounding career decisions.
This learning became the foundation of KareerTrek's philosophy:
